For much of human existence, humans could scavenge what they needed for survival. But no more as possibility of simple savaging is prohibited by land rights, trespassing laws, rules and governance. No more are the best job learned from watching your father or the crafts person in the village. When you are sugggling to survive, just to exist, there is no place for you. There no fairness in society or justice in support of a human life that has regressed to the most basic of needs.
We need to be willing to think outside the box and work together to create a more just and equitable society. Here are some potential solutions that could be considered:
Implement a universal basic income to ensure everyone has a basic level of financial security.
Develop sustainable and eco-friendly methods of agriculture to ensure everyone has access to healthy and affordable food.
Provide affordable and accessible housing to everyone, including those experiencing homelessness.
Invest in public education and job training programs to ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn and develop the skills needed to secure good jobs.
Increase access to free and affordable healthcare to ensure everyone has access to the medical treatment they need.
By implementing these solutions and others like them, we can create a society where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. It won't be easy, and it won't happen overnight, but by working together, we can create a better future for everyone.
